Our client, a global pre-public technology company that provides the most widely used on-demand collaborative software development technology in the world, is seeking a #2 lawyer for its legal department.  This position will report directly to the General Counsel.

The ideal candidate will have 4 – 8 years of experience drafting and negotiating technology transactions and working with sales teams.  Knowledge of open source software is a plus, but is not required.  Duties include structuring, drafting and negotiating company agreements in all areas of business, but primarily with enterprise level customers; providing advice regarding software licensing, trademark, and other intellectual property issues and handling a variety of corporate and business matters. He/She will work closely with company executives and will play a key role in the company’s success. A strong and likeable personality as well as a collaborative lawyering style is a must.  Local candidates only - no relos.
