Our client, a well known technology company seeks to add a mid to senior level attorney to join its growing legal department.  The ideal candidate will be a seasoned lawyer in mergers & acquisitions and other corporate matters.  In house experience is preferred, but our client will consider candidates directly from a reputable law firm.  Local candidates only.

Reporting to the General Counsel, this attorney will be primarily responsible for strategizing and managing the entire legal life cycle of the company’s global M&A practice, beginning with the execution of the confidentiality agreement during the investigative stage of a potential acquisition, through the completion of the successful integration of an acquired target into the company’s operations following the consummation of the acquisition.  Duties also include working closely with the company’s executive team, corporate development team, and other cross-functional teams (e.g., corporate finance, tax, IP and HR) and will assist with the company's SEC compliance and corporate governance matters.  The attorney will also manage sophisticated outside counsel representing the company in its complex transactions.
